About Clem
Clem Coté is a Managing Principal and founder of Sovereign Realty Group. He began his career in early 1998 in commercial real estate, with a focus on retail and industrial sales and leasing. In 2006, Clem made a transition to investment sales, specializing in retail net leased (NNN) properties, shopping centers, strip malls, downtown mixed-use properties, and multi-family apartment complexes. His experience, network of professionals, and deep understanding of the local market and its history makes Clem a critical resource to many local businesses and developers. He has orchestrated the acquisition of key properties and advised on some od the most impactful real estate projects on Long Island.He serves as a member of the Economic Development Committee for the Town of Huntington. He is also a board member for the Commercial & Industrial Broker Society (CIBS), and Chairs the Economic Development & Advocacy Committee, as well as the Net Gen Committee. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and The Long Island Real Estate Group (LIREG). Clem is a graduate of Villanova University, where he is active in the Alumni Association. He actively contributes to returning and injured veterans in need through the Wounded Warrior Project as well as the Annual Food & Toy Drive for Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Long Island.
